The Solitude Cabin is tucked away on a serene site at the base of the Grand Tetons. The client wanted to upgrade their old cabin and turn it into their dream mountain house; a place that fits with their ideals of spending more of their time enjoying nature, away from the noise of city life.
The concept features a re-thought floor plan, with an added primary suite above a re-vamped living room and lounge area. Between the two wings, a double-height connector becomes the perfect spot for a chef’s kitchen, with large windows capturing prime views.
The design and finishes are upgraded throughout, modernizing the home, while enhancing the rustic charm fitting with the cabin getaway feel. An office, game room and bunk room are added for the home to function for the whole family, for guests and for entertaining.
