As much as there are wrong answers in design (noisy A/C units, refrigerator compressors, harsh light), there isn’t necessarily one correct answer. You are designing your home for you. While you’re at it, it’s also essential to think long-term. While your program (your spaces and the sizes of those spaces) might suit your current needs, consider how it will adapt to future life changes, such as a growing family or working from home.
